How to Prepare for Your Float
To ensure you reach a meditative state quickly, follow these simple preparation steps:
- Avoid Caffeine: Try not to consume coffee or stimulants for at least 4 hours before your session. This helps your heart rate stay low.
- Avoid Shaving: Freshly shaved skin can sting slightly in the concentrated Epsom salt solution.
- Eat Lightly: A light snack an hour before is perfect. You don’t want a heavy stomach, but you also don’t want a growling one to distract you.
- Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time for a full orientation on our advanced float pod.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Nothing! We provide towels, earplugs, and premium toiletries. Most people float in the nude to eliminate tactile distractions, but you are welcome to bring a swimsuit if you prefer.
